A legendary ride across Morocco’s remote eastern desert to Figuig — one of the country’s most isolated destinations. Endless desert roads and optional sand trails make this a true adventure far from the tourist path. The journey adds a few extra days, but the raw landscapes and solitude make it unforgettable. Security is slightly tighter near the border, but traveling through the area is generally no problem. Riders can choose between endless desert tracks with compact sand sections or the long, lonely paved road stretching through the desert. Fuel stations are available along the route, making the ride manageable despite its remote location. Arriving in Figuig, you can even see the lights of neighboring Algeria glowing across the border at night 

After visiting the famous Todra Gorge, continue north and leave the tourist crowds behind. The route climbs into the mountains along a mix of gravel tracks and paved roads, offering endless twisty sections, dramatic canyons, and breathtaking scenery. Ride past the stunning Toudgha Dam before reaching the remote mountain village of Tamtetoucht — a perfect stretch for riders seeking adventure and solitude.
