Nuclear Bunkers of Area One

The site itself is theoretically reachable by any vehicle on a fully paved pathway, but it's not allowed to drive there (there are signs). The best way to get there is to park at a parking spot about 1 km outside and walk to the place. It's a nice walk through the woods (Coordinates are 49.071201, 7.673407).
"Area 1" as it is now called was a 42 acre secure internally-fenced area within the former Fischbach Ordnance Depot. The depot stored multiple types of missiles in roughly 96 bunkers. But it was the storage of nuclear weapons inside the special Area 1 bunkers that make it worth visiting this haunting place. Walking through the site takes about an hour.
