Punta Tombo, in the province of Chubut, Argentina, is home to the largest continental colony of Magellan penguins in the world. Located about 110 km south of Trelew, the reserve attracts thousands of penguins between September and March for reproduction. Visitors can walk along trails a few metres from the penguins in their natural habitat.
