Cabo Vírgenes is a promontory in the extreme southeast of Argentina (Province of Santa Cruz), famous for being the ground zero of Ruta Nacional 40, the eastern entrance to the Strait of Magellan and home to one of the largest penguins in Patagonia. Discovered by Fernão de Magalhães in 1520, the place has a historic lighthouse in operation since 1904.

O Cabo Vírgenes é um promontório no extremo sudeste da Argentina (Província de Santa Cruz), famoso por ser o marco zero da Ruta Nacional 40, a entrada oriental do Estreito de Magalhães e abrigar uma das maiores pinguineiras da Patagônia. Descoberto por Fernão de Magalhães em 1520, o local possui um farol histórico em operação desde 1904.
