Mont Saint-Michel and its bay have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Its bay is home to some of the strongest tides in Europe. This monumental landmark between Normandy and Brittany is located 3.5 hours from Paris and is one of the most visited sites in France. The parking lots are far away and it's a difficult walk in motorcycle gear - but very worthwhile.
