Pen y Pass is a critical high-mountain pass (LL55 4NU) in Eryri (Snowdonia), North Wales, serving as the primary starting point for the Miners' Track, Pyg Track, and Crib Goch routes up Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa). It features a small café, toilets, and the YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass Hostel. Parking is extremely limited, and pre-booking is essential from March to November, with high costs for spaces.
