The D-Day Museum, built in 1962 on the site where American troops landed on June 6, 1944, tells the story of D-Day in 10 parts, from the preparation to the conclusion and success. Thanks to a fully chronological tour, you can immerse yourself in the history of the landings and discover a rich collection of artifacts, vehicles, and equipment. The star of the museum, an authentic American B-26 Marauder bomber, is on display in a hangar specially designed for it. The film "The Beach of Victory" takes you back in time to the epic story of the soldiers involved in this decisive battle, the largest amphibious operation in military history. Through the moving testimonies of the veterans, you will understand the magnitude of their sacrifice, which gave Europe back its freedom.
