De bouwgeschiedenis van Kasteel Bleijenbeek begon kort voor de 14e eeuw en eindigde voorlopig in 1945, toen het kasteel door een bombardement door de RAF verwoest werd. De ruïne ligt aan de weg van Afferden naar Siebengewald in het noorden van de provincie Limburg.
The construction history of Bleijenbeek Castle began shortly before the 14th century and ended, for the time being, in 1945, when the castle was destroyed by a bombing raid by the RAF . The ruins are situated on the road from Afferden to Siebengewald in the north of the province of Limburg .
