Gran Bosco Camping & Lodge is a comfortable and modern open-air facility located in Alta Val Susa (1,032 metres above sea level), at the foot of the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park, from which it takes its name.
It is an ideal base camp for magnificent mountain excursions (on foot, by mountain bike and some historic authorised routes for motorcycles and off-road vehicles), or for relaxing at the nearby lakes of Ghiacciaia and Orfù. We are located in the heart of the Upper Valley, a few kilometres from Oulx, Sauze d’Oulx, Cesana, Sestriere and Bardonecchia.
In addition to the traditional campsite with space dedicated to those with itinerant means of accommodation (tents, caravans, camper vans, etc.), you can now also have the freedom to experience the open air with all the comforts of a luxury hotel or a chalet surrounded by nature!
For some years now, we have been able to offer this new formula of accommodation in different types of structures such as the brand new Premium Mobile Homes with two bathrooms, the classic Mobile Homes with a refined design, the cosy and superbly equipped Suites and the original POD™ and Family POD™ (please visit our Price List for more details).
The campsite was established in 1975 and is historically considered by the specialist press and customer opinions to be the best ‘open-air’ campsite in the Upper Susa Valley.
