The oldest tree in the “Mizhrichynskyi” Regional Landscape Park is the Kosachiv Oak. It stands on the side of an old cobblestone road, not far from the village of Loshakova Huta (the village’s historical name is Staro-Karpylivska Huta). This cobblestone road was once part of the old Moscow-Warsaw route built during the reign of Catherine II, leading to a crossing over the Dnipro near the villages of Okuninovo and Oshitky, which are now submerged by the Kyiv Reservoir.

Найстаріше дерево на території РЛП "Міжрічинський" - Косачівський дуб. Він стоїть на узбіччі старої брукованої дороги, неподалік села Лошакова Гута (історічна назва села - Старо-Карпилівська Гута) . Колись ця бруківка була частиною старої дороги побудованої за Єкатерини 2, Москва-Варшава і вела до переправи через Дніпро в районі затоплених нині Київським водосховищем сіл Окуніново та Ошитки.
