About this place
Norway’s largest stave church (12th century), still in use by the congregation. Features 17th-century wall paintings, a "bishop's chair," and a medieval incense burner. Guided tours available in German. Exhibition in the rectory, open during tour times. Café Olea sells church tickets, souvenirs, and handicrafts.
