Le Roc Cournut

The Roc Cornut is a geological curiosity in the Pyrénées-Orientales department. It consists of a cluster of limestone rocks arranged by nature in a unique way, balanced atop one another. There are two layers of stone: the first is made up of several rounded rocks eroded by the wind. One of these is larger than the others and supports the second layer, which consists of a large, mushroom-shaped rock. The entire formation stands approximately 4 to 5 meters tall.
