Delete Your Account

Last updated:

This page explains how to delete your DMD HUB account and the data attached to it. The same account signs you in to DMD2 (com.thorkracing.dmd2launcher), the DMD HUB app, and this website. It is operated by DMD Navigation Lda, Zona Industrial de Recezinhos, Lote 3, 4560-800 Penafiel, Portugal.

1. Delete your account yourself

The fastest route, and the one we recommend. It takes effect immediately.

  1. Sign in at hub.dmdnavigation.com.
  2. Go to Account → Profile Details (hub.dmdnavigation.com/account/profile/details/).
  3. Scroll to the bottom and press Delete My Account.
  4. Enter your current password to confirm.

Your account and the data listed in section 3 are erased as soon as you confirm.

2. If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] from the address registered to the account, with “Account deletion” as the subject. Tell us the email address of the account you want removed. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before we act. Requests are completed within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently erases your profile and all of the following:

  • Your GPX routes, folders and their metadata, and any GPX you shared with the community
  • Community locations you submitted
  • Riding groups you own, and your membership of any group you joined
  • Locations you shared inside a group
  • Your posts, comments and likes across the social feed
  • Your reviews of GPX routes, locations and services
  • Signature tracks you created, together with their media, annotations, ratings, completions and reports — and the ratings, comments, annotations and completions you left on other people’s tracks
  • Events you created and your attendance in other people’s events
  • Videos and services you submitted
  • Your app and account settings, and your feed read history
  • Your uploaded files, including images and route attachments
  • The account itself, including your email address, display name, avatar, bio and country

4. What is kept, and for how long

A small amount of data outlives the account. We keep it because we are legally required to, or because it is no longer connected to you in a usable way:

  • Purchase and licence records — kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep them. They are financial records, not profile data.
  • Crash and diagnostic reports — these are stored separately from your account, and are kept for as long as they are needed to diagnose the fault they describe. A report carries the user ID your account had when it was sent; once deletion completes, that identifier no longer corresponds to any account.
  • Server logs — up to 90 days, for security and abuse prevention.
  • Offline map data and files stored on your device — these never leave your device, so we cannot remove them. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage, deletes them.

5. Deleting individual data without closing your account

You do not have to delete your account to remove things from it. Signed in at hub.dmdnavigation.com — or from inside the DMD2 app — you can delete any of your own content at any time, and it is removed immediately:

  • Routes in your GPX library, individually or by folder — any shares of a deleted route are withdrawn with it
  • Community locations you submitted
  • Posts and comments in the social feed
  • Reviews and replies you left on routes, locations and services
  • Riding groups you own, and your own membership of any group

If you want us to erase something you cannot reach yourself, email [email protected] and tell us what to remove. This is your right of erasure under Article 17 of the GDPR, and it does not require closing your account.

6. Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you want to know what we hold about you before deciding, write to [email protected]. You can also read our Privacy Policy, which sets out your rights under the GDPR, including the right to a copy of your data.
