DMD Events

Organise the ride.
DMD takes it from there.

Put your event on the DMD HUB, take registrations, hand your riders the route and the roadbook, and share it everywhere. On the day, the DMD2 app reminds them, unlocks the files at the start and takes them there. Free for organisers, free for riders.

Ride
For organisers

Everything your event needs,
in one place.

A club ride, a rally, a charity run, a weekend tour: create it on the HUB and it gets a page riders can find, a registration that works the way you do, and the route delivered to the people who signed up.

Your event page

The place on a map, the dates in the event's own time zone, vehicle and event types, your photos and website. Riders mark themselves going, add it to their calendar and leave comments. Published after a quick review.

Registration your way

Send riders to your own sign-up link, e-mail or phone, or let the HUB run it:

  • your form, with your own questions
  • automatic or manual confirmation
  • a capacity, and a list you can download

The route, delivered

Attach your GPX tracks and roadbooks. Riders who are going, or confirmed when you run registrations, get them in their DMD2 app, locked until the time you choose, say the start, and for as long as you choose.

Payment info

Show your payment instructions or a payment link, or send the details yourself after sign-up, then mark each rider paid or waived. The HUB never handles the money.

Public, or link only

List your event for everyone, or keep it hidden: a private club ride stays off every list, and only people with its link can open it.

Share it everywhere

Share buttons for Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Instagram, and links that show a card with your picture, the dates and the place. Plus an event card to embed on your own website.

On the day

DMD2 gets your riders
to the start line.

Riders who are going see the event in the DMD2 app on their dash or phone. No setup, nothing to download by hand.

A day before

Nobody misses
the start.

From 24 hours before the start, DMD2 shows a reminder each time it opens: when the event starts, which files are already on the map, and which unlock at the start. View details opens the event page right there in the app.

At the start: the files are in place, and one tap takes the rider there.

At the start

The route unlocks
right on time.

At the time you set, the event's track appears on every going rider's map and the roadbook is ready. DMD2 checks the time against the server and the GPS, so a unit with the wrong clock still unlocks at the start, not before.

The files are fetched ahead of time, so a start in the middle of nowhere, with no signal, is not a problem.

Roadbook riders

The roadbook
opens by itself.

A roadbook event? At the unlock the event roadbook opens in DMD2's Roadbook, ready at box one, with no tap. A rider who already had another roadbook open gets Show roadbook instead, and nothing is replaced behind their back.

My Events in DMD2's DMD HUB lists the events a rider created and the ones they are going to. Each opens its page in the app: when and where, the organiser, their registration, your website, and Navigate to the start with DMD2's own routing, on road or off it.

  Live Event New

During the ride,
everyone is on the map.

Riders who join the live event see each other on the map, and say how they are with one tap:

Each rider's pin and row wear the colour of their state, so the crew sees at a glance who stopped, who needs a hand and who is in trouble. Your crew has roles everyone can see: sweep, lead, first aid, support van.

Free too

The organiser's DMD2: every rider in their state, on the map and in the list, with Navigate to whoever needs help.

A rider's SOS on DMD2: 'SOS is on. The crew and the nearest riders can see where you are', their position, Emergency: 112, and I'm OK, stop the SOS

The rider's SOS: their position, the country's emergency number, and one button to stand it down.

SOS

An SOS reaches the right people, at once.

One tap on SOS, confirmed, and the crew and the riders nearest to it are alerted with where it is: spoken aloud on DMD2, and a red alarm on the organiser's dashboard. The rider's own screen shows their position and the country's emergency number until they tap I'm OK.

Need a hand reaches the same riders, quietly. A rider who also shares in a riding group raises its Help Me with the same tap.

The board

One board for everyone, and a line to the crew.

The board carries what you post for everyone: announcements, pinned on top and read aloud on DMD2, and regroup pins with a time and Navigate. Riders post there too: loose gravel ahead, a fuel stop done.

Each rider also has a private thread with the crew, for the puncture, the fall or the late start, and the organiser reads every thread in one inbox.

On the map

Riders and regroup pins, on every map.

Every rider sees the others where they are, the crew with their roles, and the regroup pins with their time. A tap on a pin opens the event; Navigate takes a rider to a regroup point, or to someone who needs a hand.

  Event points New

The day's places, on the map before the day.

Pin the briefing, the start line, lunch, fuel and the night's hotel, each with its icon, a time and a few words. You choose when each one shows: always, from the start, or from a date and time, so day two's lunch can wait for day two.

Riders find them on the event's page as the Programme, and the public live page shows them days ahead, before there is a route or a rider on it. Mark a place Be here by and your dashboard tells you who is not there yet, ready for one message to all of them.

In DMD2

Every rider knows where to be, and when.

Riders read the Programme on the event's page in DMD2 before the day. During the ride the points are on every rider's map with their time, and in the Programme with a countdown, ticked off as they reach them. DMD2 reminds them before a point, warns a rider who may not make a Be here by, and tells them when its time has passed. Nothing is sent to anyone by itself.

On the HUB

Your live dashboard.

Run the event from any browser: every rider's state, when they were last seen and their battery. An SOS sounds an alarm and leads the list. Post announcements, drop regroup pins on the map, message any rider, name your crew and set the event points, the finish among them.

The Live Event dashboard on the DMD HUB: 8 riding, 1 SOS, 1 need a hand, 1 on a break; the map with every rider's pin, the route, a regroup pin and the finish; the roll call with state, last seen and battery; and an SOS alarm for Marta Silva

For family and friends

A public live page, on unless you switch it off.

Every event gets one: anyone with its link can follow the ride. The riders on the map, your announcements and regroup pins, your event points, and the route once it unlocks. Riders appear as their first name and initial, and only those who said yes in their app.

The public live page of an event: the riders by first name and initial along the route on a map, the finish flag, and the organiser's announcements and regroup pin in a side panel

The public live page: the riders, the route and your posts, for anyone with the link.

DMD2 asks each rider: 'Public live page. The organiser shows this event on a public page: anyone with its link can follow the riders on a map. Riders show as their first name and initial, and only while they share their position. Show you on it?' with Show me on it and Not me

Each rider is asked first, in DMD2.
