Mucho cuidado!. Por nueva normativa, desde el día 20 de Abril de 2026 está prohibido circular, con vehículos particulares, por la pista de Sotres a Espinama. Ya lo siento, he pasado por esa pista muchas veces y no se ha deteriorado con el uso, en 40 años. Se ha perdido, para los amantes del off-road, una ruta magnífica, Eperemos que no sea para siempre.

Take great care! Due to new regulations, as of April 20, 2026, the use of private vehicles on the Sotres to Espinama track is prohibited. I'm sorry to say this; I've driven that track many times and it hasn't deteriorated in 40 years. A magnificent route has been lost for off-road enthusiasts. Let's hope it's not forever.

Rode this on Saturday, splendid! I preferred the n-625 over the n-611, probably because I met awful meteo conditions on the latter, but I’m sure that in the right conditions both are great and sufficiently different to grant doing them both in a loop. By the way, Riaño is well worth a stop.
