Vildmarksvägen (English: The Wilderness Road), locally known as Stekenjokkvägen after the mountain pass of Stekenjokk is a tourist road stretching from northern Jämtland to southern Lapland, Sweden.[1] It begins in Strömsund and ends in Vilhelmina. Part of the road is closed during winter at times because of heavy snow, which can reach up to 7 metres (23 ft).[2] In 2012, the Frostvikens Fjällpark was open in Gäddede as part of the Vildmarksvägen.[2] Vildmarksvägen also hosts the Bjurälven nature reserve.[2] Part of the road is above the tree line.

Nice camping, very friendly people.Cafe on the other side of the road.

simple camping but bit  faded history. owner very friendly  and love to show you his collection of over 20.000  ballpens hanging from the ceiling. sanitair is a bit 1970 but it works.

Wild camp spot in nature reserve with extrasNice covered fireplace, with plenty of wood available.exposition room about wildlife in the region is unmanned, (worst case sleep in there),

The Zsar oulet shopping center is a place where the closed russian borders are really noticeable. this huge shopping center is closed and abandoned after the closing of the russian border, which is just 2 kilometer from this place.

Weird camping place. good for after the tallinn-helsinki ferry. unclear where reception is but coffeeshop will do,notting special.

Nice spot for wild camp. lake is visited a lot by local swimmers and fishermen.

Big Camping with restaurant, perfect transit place.

Basic Campspot. nothing special, showers are payed. but great lake access

a bit boring camping but good stay for transit to Baltics from the west.note we did not see or try the restaurant of hotel, only the campsite.

A weird eiry artwork of over 1000 dressed stick figures. the artist leaves it open for you to make up your own meaning or message of it.

weird campsite. very unclear.we call it "hell's gate" due to the amount of midges. never have we seen as many as here. worst place we ever stayed.

simpel camping. No shops near so bring food and beer.

Just a nice place to pitch a tent. with a view on a pier and a sunken boat.

Beautifull place for an overnght stay. unfortually a bit overcrowded with campers (as everywhere in scandinavia) but still incredible. Keep your eyes on the sea. when we where there we spotted a whale and serveral dolphins.

Good place to pitch a Tent. house owner just a view hunderd meters away is very welcoming. only asked to NOT make fire, for being afraid of forrest fires

Smal lo location riverside Swim possibleSmall (dressing) cabins  can be used as shelterWild camp spot. dry toilets nearby. good place for a swim expect a visit from borderpolice in the evening. you are very near the bufferzone to the russian border. borderpolice will explain the rules and concequences of breaking them very friendly.

Great little non commercial camping. Owner welcome you.Sauna is available lakeside when asked.Highly recommended.

Unique Brigde ferry build in 1908 and one of only 8 ever build. Build as a river crossing on the Oste. Crossing is possible on foot, bike and sometime motorcycle.

Typical German Camping, not highly reconmended. as useal in germany (to) many fixed campspot with flags, gnomes and ulgy ornaments.Showers are paid, price to high. still while on transit to do.

Nice Place when on route.In the Small house you could stay dry, but first come first serve.

Nice peak.heading up from west to east full paved with tight corners. conitnuing down heading east easy to moderate unpaved.Nice Ride.

Highline179 is located near Reutte on the Bavarian–Austrian Border, it extends at an altitude of 114 meters (374 ft) above the Ehrenberg castle and connects the Ehrenberg ruins with Fort Claudia. The location of the bridge was chosen so that it would have a span of 403 meters (1,322 ft).

Camping just outside KopenhagenJust outside the city, good camping, good price. nice stay Sanitair in the old building is terrible. the one near the entrance is good but very busy 

The Famous Tivoli Gardens.This might be the most beautifull location to End your Scandinavia tour possible. When Taking back the Oresund-Bridge stop in Kopenhagen and spend a evening in Tivoli. Eat, Drink, take a ride, watch a concert and enjoy this unique location.

The Fomous caves of Postonja. they are huge.Sadly also very expensive to visit and way overcrowded in summer.there are beter smaller options in Slovnia.

Nice Restaurant, Bikers very Welcome. Good honnest food, even better beer.

Well known point for Off-road rider in The Netherlands. One of the only Hill-climbs (or desents) in the Netherlands. South to North is Climb, usually very sandy at the top.Better photo follows next time we will pass there.

Be aware When entering Kososo you will need to buy insurance.Your GREEN CARD does not cover Kosovo.  More Important!!!  SERBIA DOES NOT RECOGNIZE KOSOVO AS COUNTRY!! DO NOT ENTER SERBIA VIA KOSOVO, YOU WILL ENTER THE COUNTRY ILLEGALLY ( IN THEIR VIEW) AND THIS CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS EXITING SERBIA LATER.  Be also aware the trafic rules are just a suggestion in Kosovo traffic is hectic to put it mildly.
