Warning
Do not attempt this route in the rainy season as you can easily get caught in the canyon during a storm with no way out.
About this place
The route takes you from San Joaquin to Zimapan through the the river bed, it's a challenging ride but well worth it. There is an active mine at the bottom of the river and there are dump trucks traveling up and down the road to Zimapan.
