Maritim Museum Peenemünde U-461 is a museum in the harbour of Peenemünde on the island of Usedom in Germany. Its main exhibit is the former Soviet submarine U-461, originally K-24, belonging to Project 651, known in NATO as the Juliett class. It entered service in 1965 and operated mainly in the Baltic Sea and the North Atlantic. Today, visitors can walk through its interior and see the narrow corridors, cabins, technical rooms, and the atmosphere of a Cold War submarine. It is an impressive piece of naval history — a huge steel machine that feels slightly claustrophobic and very authentic. 

The Vajont Dam is located in northern Italy near the town of Longarone, in the Vajont valley close to Belluno. It was completed in the early 1960s and was one of the tallest arch dams in the world at the time. It became known for the tragedy of October 9, 1963: a massive landslide from Monte Toc fell into the reservoir and pushed water over the top of the dam. The dam itself mostly survived, but the resulting wave destroyed Longarone and nearby villages. Around 2,000 people died. Today, Vajont is mainly a memorial to one of Europe’s greatest engineering disasters and is often used as a warning about underestimating geology and risk in large construction projects. You can see the dam in the video at the link at 12:25. Přehrada Vajont leží v severní Itálii u obce Longarone, v údolí řeky Vajont nedaleko Belluna. Byla dokončena na začátku 60. let a ve své době patřila k nejvyšším klenbovým přehradám na světě. Proslavila se tragédií z 9. října 1963: obrovský sesuv hory Monte Toc spadl do nádrže a vytlačil vodu přes korunu hráze. Hráz samotná většinou vydržela, ale vzniklá vlna smetla Longarone a okolní vesnice. Zahynulo přibližně 2 000 lidí. Dosso dei Galli is a mountain ridge near Passo Maniva in Lombardy, Italy. The place is known for its abandoned former NATO base and panoramic views of the Alps. The base can be reached by off-road or adventure motorcycle. When leaving the road, you need to cross a ditch, but after that the route continues on asphalt and is not technically difficult. Místo je známé opuštěnou bývalou základnou NATO a panoramatickými výhledy na Alpy. K základně se dá dojet terénním nebo adventure motocyklem.
