About this ride
One of my favorite rides in Catalonia. Starting from the Anoia region, this route heads towards the iconic Pedraforca mountain, combining beautiful secondary roads with some exciting off-road sections.
The scenery is spectacular throughout the entire ride. After passing Aigües de Valls, mobile phone coverage disappears completely. From there, the route climbs into a very remote rocky mountain section with loose stones, steep climbs, and technical descents before reaching the other side. This is one of the most rewarding parts of the route, but also the most isolated. I highly recommend carrying a satellite communicator such as a Garmin inReach, especially if riding solo. In case of an emergency, it can make a huge difference where there is no mobile signal.
Bring plenty of water, download your offline maps before leaving, and be prepared for changing weather and mountain conditions. Suitable for adventure motorcycles, dual-sport bikes, and ATVs in dry conditions. Ride responsibly, respect local regulations, and leave no trace.

Expertise needed
Intermediate to Advanced. Most of the route follows scenic secondary roads and easy forest tracks, but the final mountain section includes loose rocks, steep climbs and descents, and remote terrain with no mobile coverage after Aigües de Valls. Riders should be comfortable handling their motorcycle or ATV on uneven surfaces and be self-sufficient in remote areas. A satellite communicator is strongly recommended when riding solo.
Land management / authorities
The route follows public roads and legally accessible rural tracks. Always comply with local regulations, respect private property, wildlife, livestock, and other trail users. One section crosses a protected natural park where parking is only allowed in designated parking areas. Please remain on established roads, avoid creating new tracks, and leave the area exactly as you found it. Responsible riding helps keep these routes open for everyone.
