This project was born as an idea to make a trip from the city of Santiago to Villa O'Higgins, the endpoint of the Carretera Austral, covering more than 2,200 km along two highways: Route 5 South and Route 7. The purpose of this site is to gather all the necessary information to carry out this trip, including a full plan for a 20-day motorcycle trip, so this information can help other adventurers — both local and foreign — and serve as a basecamp to plan a trip.
